Q: What is your return policy?
A: All Carat Cake Designs sales are final unless there is damage on the part of the designer. Most all items you see here are custom made to order. Please be sure you know all about your item before placing your order. As well each piece is thoroughly inspected for any flaws or damage prior to shipping. In the unfortunate event that an item is received damaged please contact us within 7 days of receiving your piece and we will issue you an RMA number to return the piece for repair. Please contact us via email at caratcakedesigns@gmail.com or via the phone at 949.378.4625 to receive a RMA number. Any returns received with out a valid RMA number will be refused. Q: In the event that my Carat Cake jewelry needs repair, what is your policy?
A: We will gladly repair your Carat Cake jewelry for a lifetime. In the case of lost parts, a nominal charge may apply. Q: I have noticed a few of the stones on my Carat Cake jewelry have imperfections. Why is this?
A: Carat Cake jewelry that is designed with natural materials, such as semi-precious and precious stones, may have unusual coloration or markings. These markings should not be considered imperfections but rather add to the uniqueness of each piece. With other rare vintage finds you may notice some slight imperfections but again this just adds to the piece and we feel makes if even more valuable as each vintage piece has a story to tell.
Q: How do I care for my Carat Cake jewelry?
A: To keep your Carat Cake jewelry in its original condition store it flat in a protective box or bag. To clean sterling silver jewelry use liquid silver polish and a soft cloth. Do not clean or polish tarnished sterling silver, for it will remove the black finish. Use a dampened chamois to polish crystals. Always apply cosmetics, hair products, and perfumes before wearing your Carat Cake jewelry.
Q: Do you ship international or to PO Boxes or FPO/APO address’s?
A: At this time Carat Cake Designs does not ship internationally, nor will we ship to a PO Box, FPO or APO address.
Q: Do you offer insurance on your orders?
A: At your option, we can ship via FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. In the event that you need your order expedited please inquire before placing your order to see if it is in stock. Orders can be shipped insured. Please note that extra insurance charges may be incurred when shipping multiple pieces. The shipping rates are as follows and can change without notice depending on FedEx's business guidelines:

Q: I ordered but have not received shipping confirmation.
A: Please note that some pieces will be in stock and ready to ship at the time of order while most pieces are custom made to order and therefore expediting shipping is not available. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your order unless otherwise specified.
Q: If my order is not in stock, when will my credit card be charged?
A: Your credit card will be charged when we send you a shipping tracking number for your order. However, our secure shopping cart will pre-qualify your credit when the order is placed and then fully charged at the time of shipment.
Q: What if I get buyer's remorse during the waiting period for my custom order? Can I cancel my order?
A: Since our pieces are custom made, please call us at 949.378.4625 to notify us immediately. If we already shipped the item, we will not be able to reverse this process.
